FOHWL Events

The Friends of High Wycombe Libraries organise various events during the year.

The main activity undertaken is a series of talks held  in the main Library building. These are held once a month on a Wednesday evening from September to May.

The Programme Secretary goes to a great deal of trouble to organise a diverse range of topics so as to encourage a cross section of High Wycombe society including minority groups to come along and enjoy the talks.

In addition to the regular monthly talks, Friends hold two other evening events every year.  One is  the AGM. The other, usually in November, is a Quiz Night.  We also hold fund-raising Saturday morning coffee mornings from time to time in the Library.

We are always looking to add other activities to our list so if you have some ideas and would be willing to help us organise them, please contact the Chairman in the first instance.
